Overview

Dairy Block is a “unique micro-district in the heart of Denver’s historic LoDo neighborhood” — where you can find a host of retail, food, office, and lodging opportunities. Built upon the storied history of Windsor Dairy, the block was first developed in 2017 and quickly became a top destination in downtown Denver.

In early 2023, the block underwent a brand evolution with an outside partner which subsequently required an overhaul to their website.

Web Designs

Unlike some other web design projects — the client’s primary focus here was to incorporate the new brand into the existing site structure. This involved incorporating an extended color palette — including making accommodations for web accessibility — refreshed brand typography, and several new design elements, affectionately referred to by the internal team as “blobs.”

While seemingly “copy and paste” updates on the surface, these new brand elements required patience and strategy to help convey the energy and character of the brand when ensuring an optimal user experience.

Page Builder

After an initial home page design was approved, a page builder featuring additional site-wide modules, elements, and interactive states was built out to aid the development team during hand-off.
